How did I end up here?

Starting off at a major marketing agency in Cairo, I was always drawn to storytelling through visuals and imagery. So, it felt natural to pick up a camera and dive into this creative field.

I began my journey in photography with nightlife events before moving on to high-end parties, celebrity bashes, portraits, and weddings across Egypt.

It wasn’t long before I was working with major brands like Microsoft, Vodafone, Pepsi, and Mercedes, travelling across the country and delivering unique visual content that spoke to my clients’ goals.

Then Covid hit.

Hours before the national lockdown, I gambled everything and travelled to Dahab on the Red Sea side of South Sinai, hoping to ride the pandemic out by the ocean.

Little did I know it would transform my life.

For the next two years, I immersed myself in freediving, exploring the world underwater with a single breath. This experience has shaped my approach to photography and visual content, and enabled me to get even more creative with my imagery.

I now split my time between cosmopolitan Cairo and the stunning coastline of Dahab, indulging in extreme sports and capturing photos whenever I can.

When I’m not behind the lens, you'll find me cycling with a rucksack full of camera equipment alongside my two honey-coloured dogs, Biscuit and Sugar. Rescued from the streets during a thunderstorm, they adopted me, and we've been a family ever since.
